AAPとは
1954年「精神が自由であることを具体的に提示すること」を理念に
芦屋で具体美術協会は生まれました。
その後、国内外の現代美術界に大きな影響を与えたアート集団「GUTAI」。
その理念を過去から受け継ぎ現代を通して
次世代へと伝える「AAPアシヤアートプロジェクト」。
「GUTAI」が掲げた「精神が自由であること」を手がかりに、
この芦屋からアートの持っている 役割や可能性について対話をかさね、
未来に紡いでいきたいと思います。
About AAP
Gutai Bijutsu Kyokai (Gutai Art Association) was founded in 1954 in Ashiya, Japan,
based on the philosophy that art should be an embodiment of the free spirit.
Since then, the “GUTAI” Art Group has been a source of great inspiration
for contemporary art both in and outside Japan.
With this legacy, the Ashiya Art Project or AAP was created
to inherit GUTAI’s philosophy in today's world and pass it on to the next generation.
From GUTAI’s birthplace in Ashiya, we strive to explore the roles and possibilities of artwhereby the “free spirit” pursued by GUTAI is to guide us all the way
from the past to the present and on into the future.
In this way, AAP hopes to keep the noble fire burning for the time that lies ahead of us.
